Apple Watch will support Amazon Alexa?

(According to Engadget) Although Siri has been updated on iOS 12 later this year, adding more features, it is not the most powerful voice assistant. So far, this is the only one that works on Apple Watches. However, if you want to use Amazon Alexa on your Apple Watch, you can now do it with a third-party app, Voice In A Can.

This is a standalone app, so you don't need a phone and just need a data or WiFi connection to use it. Developer Damian Mehers suggested adding the app as a Watch Complex feature for ease of use. After installing Voice In A Can and binding it to your Amazon account, Alexa can do what Alexa can do on your watch.

However, there are some limitations: it can't play music, audio books or podcasts. However, you can control the smart home products that are tied to Alexa and take advantage of other features. However, the annoyance is that when the screen is off, the watch will be disconnected from Alexa, so you may need to extend the timeout limit. Wake up the screen and click the button to activate Alexa, which won't cause too much problems.

It's not impossible for Amazon to add Alexa to Apple Watch because it has more integration capabilities, and for now, this approach is feasible. However, please note that if Apple or Amazon does not decide to do so, Voice In A Can (which sells for $1.99 in the App Store) may disappear.
