It seems that this CES show is really going to be taken over by auto-related companies. Autoliv, the world's largest airbag supplier, will also bring their latest technology to showcase multiple solutions for automotive active safety technology.

The most prominent of these features is their third-generation night vision solution, which is said to be the world's first night vision system that can detect traffic hazards and creatures in complete darkness or fog. The system uses the infrared technology to generate images through the distant road conditions that the headlights may not be able to illuminate, and combines the route of the car itself to analyze the potential dangers of different objects in the road conditions.

For example, in the middle of the night, pedestrians are required to cross the road. The night vision system can detect pedestrians and give the driver a warning at a distance that is two times farther than the headlight range, giving the driver enough time to take safety measures.

On this basis, Autoliv will also showcase their Stereo Vision System and unique 3D image processing technology to assist the active safety system in dealing with real-life travel emergencies.

Second, another product that will be shown is the Automated Emergency Braking that works with a single camera. It will use NCAP's test methods to demonstrate the application of the camera system in the field of image recognition, and how to deal with problems under real road conditions, and use it as a basic technology combined with other auxiliary functions.

Other safety technologies on display include:

The ZForce Intuitive Steering Wheel, in collaboration with Neonode, combines sensors built into the steering wheel with visual aids to allow the driver to communicate with the vehicle system without leaving the steering wheel.

Electronic Horizon technology, based on map information and inertial sensors, accurately positions the car and predicts the road ahead, helping to achieve a seamless connection between manual driving and automatic driving.

The Rear Cross Traffic Alert & Braking system uses 77 GHz radar technology to provide warning and active braking of the side conditions when reversing into the traffic. And the 25GHz rear active brake radar technology that has been put into production has achieved 5 stars in the EuroNCAP test.

Absolute Encoder

Rotary encoders are used as sensors for angle, position, speed and acceleration. We can offer incremental encoders and absolute encoders.
