China Mobile's miniaturization access to PTN equipment collection: Huawei and other six companies won the bid

November 14th news, China Mobile = official news shows that China Mobile's 2016 miniaturization access to PTN equipment collection has been completed recently.

According to previous announcements, the demand for the collection was 590,000, and a total of 6 companies won the bid, namely Hangzhou Chuling (23.91%), Beijing Huahuan Electronics (19.57%), Huawei (17.39%), and Anhui Tongtong Posts and Telecommunications. (15.22%), Resconda (13.04%) and Jiangxi Shanshui Optoelectronics (10.87%).

PTN (Packet Transport Network) refers to an optical transport network architecture and specific technology: a layer is set between the IP service and the underlying optical transmission medium, which is aimed at the burstiness and statistical recovery of packet traffic. Ensure that the network has the functions of protection switching, error detection and channel monitoring; complete interconnection and intercommunication with IP/MPLS, seamlessly carry core IP services; network management system can control the establishment and setting of connection channels, and realize service QoS Differentiate and guarantee, and flexibly provide advantages such as SLA.

In order to meet the IP of the group's customer business and their rich service requirements, China Mobile put forward more important requirements for the bearer network, which promoted the miniaturized PTN technology.
