At 7:42 today (November 10), China successfully launched the Pulsar test satellite with the Long March 11 launch vehicle at the Jiuquan Satellite Launch Center. The star is mainly used to verify the performance index of the pulsar detector and the adaptability of the space environment, accumulate the in-orbit test data, and lay a technical foundation for the verification of the pulsar detection system. Pulsars are called lighthouses in the universe. They are characterized by their characteristics and are easily recognizable. They are more accurate in the universe. According to the China Aerospace Science and Technology Group microblog report, the pulsar test satellite belongs to the sun-synchronous orbit satellite. After the satellite is in orbit, the on-orbit technology test will be carried out to verify the performance index and space environment adaptability of the spaceborne pulsar detector. The measured pulsar data lays the technical foundation for pulsar detection and technical system verification. The launch also carries four micro-nano satellites. "One Arrow and Five Stars" has set a new record for the launch of many solid rockets in China. The Long March 11 launch vehicle is the only solid rocket in China's new generation of launch vehicles. This is the second time it has carried out its launch mission after its first flight in September 2015. The Pulsar test satellite and the Chang 11 rocket used for this launch were respectively developed by the China Academy of Aerospace Science and Technology Corporation, the Fifth Academy and the First Hospital. This is the 239th flight of the Long March series of launch vehicles.
