Lighting design of the Centra Metropark office building in New Jersey, USA

The internationally renowned KPF-designed Centra Metropark is located in Eslin, New Jersey, with a floor area of ​​10,000 square meters. The Centra Metropark has a total of four floors and the flat projection is a complete rectangle. The lower three layers were partially emptied, leaving the top truss layer supported by a large tree-like pillar, making it the iconic element of the project.

The empty space forms the entrance to the building and the front plaza. The cantilevered four-story center has a rectangular hole through which sunlight can shine into a magnificent entrance plaza. The surrounding pyramidal landscape further highlights the project site and contributes to the dynamic visual presence of this suburban office building.
