OSRAM Opto Semiconductors introduces the new TOPLED Compact 5630, bringing truly innovative products to the world of LED lighting. By applying the successful TOPLED packaging technology to the special needs of backlighting applications, OSRAM Opto Semiconductors produces ultra-bright LEDs that enhance computer screens and flat screens of all sizes. Both LED versions have different gamut coverage (according to the sRGB standard) to meet a variety of customer needs. The ultra-white version of the new TOPLED delivers 76 lumens per watt at 120 mA. Depending on the color filter used in the display, the color space can cover up to 100% sRGB. A specially optimized phosphor powder is used as the conversion material to ensure high stability in color position over a long period of time and a wide temperature range. Multiple white versions operate up to 67 lumens per watt at the same current and can cover up to 120% of the sRGB color gamut. Both versions are only 5.6 x 3 x 0.9 mm in size and offer consistently high quality in both products and applications. The new LEDs are packaged in a flat package with no built-in lenses, making them ideal for applications where light is injected into the light guide from the side. TOPLED has been tested and tested, absolutely reliable, and can be mass produced. The TOPLED Compact 5630 is the second product of this type and the other is the TOPLED Compact 4520.
