Luo Kunhong suggested that if the government wants to promote comprehensive "energy-efficient lighting," then the "street lamp", a public device that is often exposed to the public, should pay more attention to the public's perception of LED.

“When the government wants to promote LED lighting, sometimes people will think that the quality of my streetlights is not good. I still buy light bulbs. How good is the quality? Therefore, they still have this doubt.”

Luo Kunhong stressed that the authorities should provide more subsidies so that the companies can use good quality to obtain the bids, which is beneficial to the public or the industry. Although industry experts pointed out recently that Taiwan’s LED output value has surpassed that of South Korea last year, ranking third in the world, Taiwan has high-quality specifications and technology and will not lose other countries and regions. As long as the authorities are willing to provide appropriate policy assistance, they believe that Taiwan The LED industry is still quite competitive internationally.
