1. Static electricity burns out. Because the LED is an electrostatic sensitive component, if the electrostatic protection work is not done well during the production process, the LED chip will be burned out due to static electricity, resulting in a suspended animation of the LED light strip.

The measure to prevent this from happening is to strengthen the static electricity protection. Any employee who touches the LED must wear anti-static gloves and an electrostatic ring as required. The tools and instruments must be grounded.

2, high temperature damage. The high temperature resistance of the LED is not good. Therefore, if the soldering temperature and soldering time of the LED are not well controlled during the production and maintenance process, the LED chip will be damaged due to the ultra-high temperature or the continuous high temperature, resulting in the LED strip. The phenomenon of suspended animation.

The measures to prevent this from happening are: do the temperature control of reflow soldering and soldering iron, carry out special person responsibility, special file management; the soldering iron adopts temperature-controlled soldering iron to effectively prevent the soldering iron from burning the LED chip at high temperature.

3. The moisture bursts at high temperatures. If the LED package is exposed to the air for a long time, it will absorb moisture. If it is not dehumidified before use, the moisture in the LED package will be thermally expanded due to excessive temperature and long time period during reflow soldering. The LED package bursts, which indirectly causes the LED chip to overheat and be damaged.

Solution: The storage environment of the LED should be constant temperature and humidity. The unused LED must be placed in an oven of about 80° for 6~8 hours before dehumidification to ensure dehumidification. Moisture absorption.
