According to the "Wall Street Journal" report, Amazon is developing a mysterious hardware Lab126 codenamed "Knight", most likely a tablet computer supporting Alexa voice assistant. The device is described as a "Tablet-like Computer Screen," but the specifics are nothing more than that. The report assumes that it is a kitchen tablet that allows people to perform voice operations more easily while cooking.

TheVerge believes that this news is not surprising. First, Echo and Alexa are showing more usability and market value. According to the analysis of the company, Echo sales have exceeded 3 million units; at the same time, it is compatible with smart home platforms such as Nest and Samsung SmartThings, allowing it to have wider availability.
