CREE LED (lamp XP-C P3) light source thermal performance test

Introduction to light source testing

This test is mainly for the thermal performance test of 1W high power LED (XP-C P3) emitter light source provided by CREE.
The main tests are:
(1) IV curve test and electric power test (2) Node temperature (hereinafter referred to as junction temperature) measurement (3) LED thermal resistance measurement (4) Optical parameter performance test related test at different operating temperatures to verify its provision Related specifications, designed as a basis for light source applications.

Test equipment composition description

(1) The main body of the tester outputs a constant current source, sampling setting, signal conversion, data processing, etc.;
(2) The temperature-controlled copper heat sink platform is measured as the temperature coefficient Kj value and the LED thermal performance test at different operating temperatures;
(3) Static air test integrating sphere According to EIA/JESD51-1, a constant volume test environment is used to measure the luminous flux of the LED;
(4) Computer installation test software to operate and control the entire test process;
LED emitter thermal resistance parameter test path:
Rj-slug = (Tj – Tslug)/Pd , the thermal resistance of the emitter node to the bottom of the heat slug, Pd is the input electrical power
