Sharp Japan will return to the Tokyo Stock Exchange Market on December 7.

Prior to this, Sharp's lack of operating capacity and liabilities exceeded assets. It was reduced to the second board last year. However, progress has been made in the improvement of Hon Hai. In June this year, Sharp applied to return to the main board. The request to return to the main board was approved. Sharp said that “in the future, we will use the originality of the product, create the advantages of innovative equipment, and form a challenging corporate culture”.

Sharp released the world’s first ultra-high definition “8K” LCD TV in China this October. The resolution of the 8K screen is 16 times that of the full-HD broadcast by the terrestrial digital, which is characterized by the immersive nature as if it were in kind.

Sharp also said earlier that it is striving to achieve a target of 150 billion yen in operating profit in the 2019/2020 fiscal year.
