Shaanxi Fuping Thermal Power Project No. 1 was successfully connected to the grid for the first time.

The high-voltage side main transformer switch of No.1 unit of Shaanxi Fuping Thermal Power Project, which was built by China Power Construction Tianjin Electric Power Construction, was closed. The units began to operate with load. The systems were in good condition, the parameters were normal, and the operation was stable.

It is reported that in order to ensure the success of the No. 1 unit of the thermoelectric project, the project department carefully organized and leaned the construction, and all the staff worked together to effectively carry out the electrical tests related to the unit, and completed the preparatory work before the grid connection.

The project is exclusively funded by the central enterprise Shenhua Group with a total investment of 3.1 billion yuan to build a 2x350MW supercritical air-cooled coal-fired thermal power unit. This is a key project listed in the “12th Five-Year Plan” of Shaanxi Province, and it is the largest investment in Fuping’s history. The investment project is the first energy-based project in Fuping's history. It is the first industrial project in the history of Fuping to be the world's top 500 companies.

It is of great significance to enhance local strength, optimize economic structure, transform development mode, improve regional environment, and improve urbanization.

Fuping is located in the hinterland of Guanzhong, near the provincial capital of Xi'an.
