According to South Korea's Investor, LG Display is increasing its production of six generations of OLEDs, including the expansion of its capacity to invest hundreds of millions of dollars in flexible small-sized panels.

Samsung has already felt pressure. In order to maintain its advantage, it is accelerating the development of the seventh-generation OLED production line, which will be put into production as soon as Q2 next year. The location is the A4 production line.

The seventh generation panel size is not mentioned in the article, but according to the previous news materials of Samsung and LGD, the size of the sixth generation glass substrate is 1500 & TImes; 1850 mm, can be divided into 200 5.5-inch panels, the seventh generation size is 1870&TImes; 2200 mm.

However, since the current instrument mainly produces the sixth generation panel, Samsung's problem lies in the stable and large-scale deployment of instruments such as LTPS-FTF and Fine Metal Mask (FMM).
