It seems that I was wrong in the evaluation of the market positioning of these two amplifiers. The X4400 and SR6012 are not the same amplifiers, but are half a file higher than the SR6012.

Compared to the old X4200, the X4400 is more of a functional evolution. In the direct push mode, the X4200 only supports 5.1.2 for ATMOS. The X4400 is upgraded to 5.1.4 and 7.1.2. In response, the total power consumption has also increased.

In the evaluation of the SR6012, Lieutenant made a simple comparison of the SR6012 and X4400 circuits. Their internal structure and circuit layout are basically the same (only referring to the internal layout of the chassis and the top DSP decoder circuit board; transformer small size difference, DSP The circuit board and capacitor under the decoder board are still significantly different).

The AVR-X4400 and SR6012 are the main models of Tianlong and Marantz, respectively, and they are equipped with all mainstream audio and video functions. When choosing between two machines, many friends will have some tangles. Of course, the sound style is different. This is what friends should consider first.

In addition, from the above table, except that the mono power is different from the total power consumption, the others are almost the same. In this part of improving the sound quality, Marantz has the master-skills "HDAM + current feedback technology", Tianlong also has the family of "Al32 + DDSC", while both also have clock jitter boycott technology.

Which knows, get the machine to see with one's own eyes, actually is 15000 microfarads! It is actually 25% higher than the SR6012. This gap is not small, which means that the X4400 has more abundant power supply capacity.
