This is the third time that designer Chen Yonghang and his team have won the iF product design award, tapping the unmet needs of users, and landing them through industrial design, which is an important reason for their success. ”

The reporter recently saw this special spherical lamp in the industrial design laboratory of Jiangmen Wuyi University: it has a round "head" like a normal lamp; it is not like a general lamp, there is a slight A slim waist, a flashing point like a flashlight, and a thin handle. In the design, the Feel Travel multi-function bulb is first of all ordinary bulbs, diverging and flooding, and can be directly used on lamps such as wall lamps; secondly, the board and lithium battery are installed inside the lamp, in the state of power failure It can continue to emit light, or it can be controlled by the buttons on the remote control or the lamp body to make a high beam, low beam or flash like a flashlight. Again, the bulb has a handle design and specially added handles for the convenience of the customer. Walking around with your hands, you can also use the rope to tie your body and free your hands to work.

Mass production offline in May

Although the technology of the circuit board and rechargeable battery that needs to be used has matured, the actual operation is not as simple as "1+1=2". Chen Yonghang said that the whole design also considers the problems of low energy consumption and low cost, enhances the practicability and usability of the product, and also takes into account the needs of product replacement, and reserves the function of implanting the radio function and Bluetooth speaker function for the next generation of products. At present, the electronic part of Feel Travel multi-function bulb has been developed, and it is expected that the product will be produced offline in May. The products are mainly in batches in areas with power shortages such as Africa, Southeast Asia and South America.
