August 5, according to news from Focus Taiwan's supply chain, Apple supplier Wistron is preparing to expand its Indian iPhone production line to prepare for the next generation of iPhone SE. Apple hopes to expand its share of the smartphone market in India by providing Wistron with most of the orders for the second-generation iPhone SE, which is said to be shipped in the first quarter of 2018. Wistron was named the supplier of the new generation of iPhone SE because it is currently produced by the iPhone SE. The company officially started production of the iPhone SE at a factory in Bangalore, India. The Indian technology website Tekz24 recently reported that the next-generation iPhone SE will adopt a configuration similar to the iPhone 7, including A10 processor, 2GB RAM, 32GB and 128GB storage capacity (similar to the current iPhone SE), 12MP rear camera and 5MP.
